Technology that stays out of the way.

Flowstate Tech Solutions is a managed service provider for growing businesses. We run the helpdesk, endpoints, cloud, security, and recovery that your team depends on every day, and we own the roadmap behind where it all goes next.

Why we exist

Most small and mid-size businesses end up with the same story. IT grew one decision at a time. Someone's cousin set up the server. A friend of the owner handled the email migration. A break-fix provider shows up when something is already down and invoices by the hour. It works, right up until it does not.

Meanwhile the business is being asked for things it cannot easily produce: cyber insurance questionnaires, client security reviews, HIPAA or SOC 2 evidence, and a credible answer to "what happens if you get ransomware?" Nobody owns that question, because nobody owns the whole environment.

What we do about it

We take ownership of the whole stack, document it properly, close the dangerous gaps first, and then run it on a predictable monthly cost. You get a named engineer, written service levels, tested backups, and a roadmap you helped set.

Because our team also includes fractional CTO and vCIO operators, we can go beyond keeping the lights on — reviewing the architecture behind your systems, aligning technology spend with where the business is actually heading, and managing major projects and vendors on your behalf.

How we work

Four commitments we do not bend on.

These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every managed agreement, and the things clients tell us they could never get from their previous provider.

Answerable

Every environment has a named engineer who is accountable for it and reports on it. Problems do not disappear into a queue.

Documented

If it is not written down, it does not exist. Networks, systems, credentials, and decisions live in documentation you own.

Plain-spoken

You get the honest version of what is at risk and what it costs to fix, in language a non-technical owner can act on.

Proven, not assumed

Backups are tested and restores are rehearsed. We would rather find a broken recovery path in a drill than during an outage.

The team

Operators, not account managers.

Clients work directly with the people doing the work. There is no layer of account management between you and the engineer who knows your environment.

Thomas — Technical Leadership

Thomas leads architecture, engineering, and security across managed environments and advisory engagements. He makes the senior technical calls — platform modernisation, cloud architecture, identity, and the sequencing of risky work — without clients needing a full-time executive.

Cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, identity and access management, AI systems, multi-tenancy, and large-scale data work.

Security & Infrastructure

Our engineers run client environments day to day — the helpdesk, patching, monitoring, identity, and recovery work that keeps a business operating, and the security controls that keep it defensible.

Endpoint detection and response, email and identity security, network and firewall engineering, Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, and backup architecture with tested restores.

Coverage

Where we work.

We support clients remotely across the United States, with scheduled onsite work where it matters — office moves, hardware deployments, and anything that genuinely needs hands in the room.

Remote-first

Helpdesk, monitoring, and engineering delivered remotely, with response targets defined in your service level agreement.

Onsite when needed

Scheduled visits for hardware, network, and project work. Emergency onsite available by arrangement.

One accountable team

No handoffs between a sales team, a helpdesk, and a separate projects group. Same people throughout.

Careers

Work with us.

We are a small, senior, remote team. We hire engineers who like owning an environment end to end and explaining their decisions to people who are not engineers.
